Insight into the CMS software and the risks and opportunities associated with facility production and sharing of the final facility assessment document are discussed. An action plan for producing or updating the facility assessment within the current operational framework for participant’s facilities is produced.


Updates to Facility Training: Effective Strategies for Determining and Documenting Staff Competency

Overview of CMS requirements on competent and sufficient staff as outlined in Nursing Services, Behavioral Health, and other areas of the Regulations with detailed instruction on defining, measuring, and reporting staff competency. The course includes a toolkit that can be adapted for use within the current framework of participant’s facility.
